19. Should school attendance be mandatory? In your answer, be sure to explore what the function of education is, and what our nation would look like if the masses were less educated.
The root of creation

"Children have to be educated, but they have also to be left to educate themselves."- Ernest Dimnet

Time passes by whether we are doing something or nothing at all. Because of this fact, it is important to utilize the time given to us in a wise way. It it important to acknowledge the importance of education in a country for it is education itself that helps the country's population cultivate intellect, develop reasoning and for the students to grow and mature and to become adults.
If school attendance was mandatory, the population of a country will benefit greatly with this because it would improve economically as well technologically. Its population will increase their intellectual capacity. However, they would be an increase on job demands and living conditions.
Nonetheless, the benefits of education would overpass the negatives of school being mandatory.
